The Sugden Family Blog

Michael and Cecilie Sugden fell in love in the summer of 1994 when they met in NYC and decided they better get married right away. Almost two years later the first of their six children started coming (Rohan, Casey, Pyper, Abigail, Torben, & Solveig). The kids are Mike and Cecilie's number one love. Cecilie loves to read and take long walks while Mike enjoys tinkering and keeping up with current events. The Sugden's are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

One Man's Trash Is Another Woman's Compost

The arrival of the compost bowl marks the official start of spring for the Sugdens. This means that the ground has finally thawed out, the days are a little longer, the kids spend more time outdoors, and the compost pile goes back into action. One of the things I enjoy about winter is the dissapearance of the compost bowl. Hey, it's the small things that make the world go round. Cecilie, however, looks forward to getting the "bowl" back into action as it allows her to once again feel close to Mother Earth.
