Abigail's Attic

Abigail is Hebrew in origin and means "father rejoiced" or "father's joy". While Cecilie was pregnant with her we read the book "John Adams" by David McCullough and decided that Abigail Adams was a heroine worthy of emulation.

Parade




After dividing into teams our "opening ceremony" consisted of a parade around the yard, to the accompaniment of the Olympic Theme which definitely added to the spirit of the occasion.
