About Me
The most exciting thing to happen this year, was that in May I officially became a "house"-wife. Hallelujah. Although neither architecturally interesting nor historically significant, it is without a doubt the nicest house I have ever owned.
Whoever said money can't buy happiness didn't spend 9 years in an apartment saving it up for a downpayment*. Let me officially say it buys more than happiness - sheer joy, unadulterated bliss, total euphoria, you get the picture...
I LOVE my driveway. (You would have to live in a city with alternate side parking to truly appreciate this, especially in the winter)
I LOVE my washing machine. (9 years of laundromats, need I say more?)
I LOVE my dishwasher. (I've never had one, growing up or otherwise and so I didn't even know what I was missing. Three cheers for the wonders of modern day living!)
I LOVE closets, garages, crawl spaces, basements, eaves, attics...Who knew there were so many places to put things?
Just so you don't think I'm totally materialistic I also love Mike, Rohan, Casey, Pyper, and Abigail.
