"Canadian" Thanksgiving

We celebrated American Thanksgiving with a Canadian family we've gotten to know. This impressive table was built by the pater familias and we are enjoying it very much. (Note the new color on the walls and the hardwood floor - he's been very busy) 

Turkey Triumph

Not to toot my own horn or anything, but this was a mighty fine bird. I'm still developing my skills in the fine art of dead animal preparation, and a good roast still eludes me, but this turkey was a winner.
