Pyper's Place

Pyper is a derivative of the English word Piper and means "flute player." When Cecilie was young, she knew a family that had a little girl named Piper (named after the actress Piper Laurie). She always liked the name and used it as soon as she could.

No Prince Charming

As Cecilie and I returned home last night we noticed a creature hopping down the road. We didn't want the poor fellow to become the victim of a hit and run so we decided to relocate him to the pond in our backyard. Before moving him we wanted to make sure that he wasn't a strapping prince that had been mercilessly transformed by an evil witch. Pyper performed the spell breaking test to no avail. At least we tried. It looks like we won't be the benefactors of having a daughter married to prince charming.
