Pinewood Derby
Last night was Rohan's third and final year in the Pinewood Derby. The first year his car came in dead last, the second year his car improved by coming in second last, and this year he returned to his former glory by coming in dead last.
Rohan took the loss pretty well this year and I don't even think a tear was shed. He did give me a few of those "what kind of Father are you looks" after it was evident from the first few runs that things were looking rather bleak; however, he was able to quickly shake off the agony of defeat and jump in to become Casey's pit crew manager. Rohan was feverishly dumping graphite on Casey's car between heats, but as Casey's car started losing Rohan quickly became the scapegoat for Casey's steady decline in the rankings.
