Torben's Tree House

Torben is the Danish derivative of the Norwegian Torbjörn and means “Tor’s (Thor) bear.” Tor is the god of thunder in Norse mythology. When we named Torben we wanted a Norwegian name, but also wanted something pronounceable by English speakers. We liked Torbjörn but decided that the Danish derivative would be easier to pronounce so we went with Torben.

Irresistable

Isn't Torben just a delightful child? He had such a fun day at the beach. He especially loved playing in the sand.

I think Torben looks a little like a young Big Casey in this picture. I'm often telling Kendra that Elizabeth looks like Casey, too. Anybody agree?

Tis true. I think he does take after his Uncle Casey; however, I think there are some definite improvements. When your better looking, your just better looking. I know what it is like to be better looking than all of my brothers - it's better than the alternative. Sorry fellows.
